Timing & Fees
The Artist/Vendor Application is open from August 15, 2026, until September 30, 2026. The non-refundable application fee is $25. Applicants will be notified about whether they have been accepted into Marketplace by Tuesday, October 7, 2026.
If accepted into Marketplace, our booth fee is $200. Our booths are located throughout the school’s classrooms and hallways. The booth space is approximately 8’ x 6.’ for a classroom booth and 10’ x 3’ for a hallway booth. Each vendor is responsible for providing their own booth set-up, though we do have a limited number of tables and chairs available to rent.
Selection & Notification
Notification for all applications will be sent on October 6th.
Our goal is to offer a variety of original arts and crafts in the Marketplace. Entries are judged primarily, though not strictly, on quality, marketability and originality. All artwork must be the original handmade work of the artist; this includes repurposing of goods. Only mediums listed on the application and approved by the Decatur Holiday Marketplace committee can be sold during the show.
Previous inclusion in the Marketplace does not guarantee future selection.
This is an in-person event only this year. We will not be offering the online market.
At the time of acceptance into Marketplace, the appropriate (tax deductible) booth fee will be due.

What's Included
All artists participating in Marketplace will receive a $5.00 food voucher which may be used in our Cafe.
All artists will be listed on this website as well as the Clairemont PTA’s website.
Our Facebook and Instagram accounts for Decatur Holiday Marketplace will highlight artists and their work using photos that are submitted with the artist applications.
This is the 35TH Anniversary of the Marketplace and we are working on additional opportunities to publicize our long-lasting community event.

In-Person Info
Artists are required to keep their booth open for the entire show. Failure to stay for the entire show may result in disqualification from future shows.
You will receive detailed instructions for load in and load out prior to the event. The Marketplace is held inside of Clairemont Elementary school and we must be respectful of the students and facilities.

Decatur Holiday Marketplace History

Now in its 35th year, the Decatur Holiday Marketplace will once again take place at Clairemont Elementary the weekend of December 11-12. The school will magically transform into an inviting artists’ market accompanied by delicious food and a festive atmosphere. Our returning and new artisans and makers will be selling their unique handmade items including paintings, glass art, jewelry, pottery, candles, bath products, gourmet food items, and much more. We will also have professional food vendors and food trucks to keep you fueled for shopping, and live music to keep you dancing through the halls. We invite you to join us at Clairemont Elementary School at 155 Erie Avenue for this wonderful community tradition. All proceeds from the event support learning initiatives, community engagement events, and teacher grants that benefit the Clairemont students. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates.
